Garage terms of use

These terms govern the use of the Garage app published by Daniel Serra as filaliscio ("we"). By using the app you accept them. If you are a consumer, the rights granted to you by law always remain valid.
1. What Garage offers
Garage is free and complete: you can record vehicles, refuels, consumption, services, expenses and deadlines, receive reminders and use the app without an account and without a connection. Paid extras, through Google Play:
- Garage Pro (one-time purchase): unlimited vehicles, advanced statistics, Officina and Notturno themes.
- Garage Plus (monthly or yearly subscription): cloud sync and backup, reading receipts and odometer from photos, PDF reports included and, while active, everything in Garage Pro.
- PDF report (single purchase): a vehicle report to share.
Prices, currency and taxes are those shown by Google Play at the time of purchase.
2. Subscriptions
Garage Plus renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Google Play (Subscriptions): it stays active until the end of the period already paid. When the subscription ends you lose no data: it stays on your phone, sync stops and the free features (or Garage Pro, if purchased) apply.
3. Payments, refunds and withdrawal
Payments, refunds and receipts are handled by Google Play under its terms. Paid features are digital content supplied immediately after purchase: by purchasing you request immediate performance and acknowledge that, once supply has begun, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. Statutory guarantees and Google Play refund policies remain unaffected. For problems with a purchase, write to us.
4. What Garage is not
- Reminders are an aid, not a guaranteed service: they depend on the phone's settings and state (permissions, battery saving, date and time). You remain responsible for paying road tax, insurance, inspection and any other obligation. Always check official deadlines.
- The suggested inspection follows the general Italian schedule (first after 4 years, then every 2): special cases may differ.
- Photo reading (receipts, registration certificate, odometer) can make mistakes: check and confirm values before saving.
- The PDF report contains the data you entered: it is not an official or certified document.
- Consumption and statistics are estimates calculated from the data entered.
5. Proper use
Use the app for lawful purposes and for your own vehicles or those you manage with entitlement. Do not try to access other users' data, bypass protections or payments, or overload our services.
6. Account
The account is optional and personal. You can delete it at any time from the app (More → Account → Delete account): the account and synced data are deleted. We may suspend an account used in breach of these terms, notifying you where possible.
7. Availability and liability
We do our best for the app to work well and for data to be safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially of online services (sync, purchases) that also depend on third-party providers. We recommend not using Garage as the only copy of important data. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage or damage from non-compliant use; nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence or mandatory consumer rights.
8. Intellectual property
The app, graphics, illustrations and texts are ours or used under licence. The data you enter remains yours.
9. Privacy
Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms, for example for new features or legal changes. Important changes will be announced in the app before they apply; if you do not accept them you can stop using the app and cancel the subscription.
11. Governing law and disputes
Italian law applies. For consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction, and the mandatory protections of the consumer's country of residence remain applicable.
